I'm not really into the "Sci-Fi" genre, but for some reason that image mesmerizes me.

Nice lighting and composition... and actually a logical reason for the figure to be standing in water. Not bad at all! ;)

It is very good, was it done using poser? I couldn`t find any information about it.

According to the gallery description, the artist used Poser 5, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. I agree, it's a fascinating (and creepy) rendering.
