Subject: What am I doing wrong?

I have just recently started using Poser and have found this site veryhelpful, but I still am confused about something. I have figured out to use the trans maps and such but after I render them (using Poser) I try to save them, but when i do the convert back to the dot form the were before the were rendered. Is this the way that poser saves them or am I doing something wrong? Also I have another quick question. I have d/l'ed a few or the characters here and was wondering if there is any way to save each piece of clothing for use on other characters? Also is there a way to add morph targets to clothing so that will fit my porportioned characters? I know there are probably newbie questions but please help an aspiring art fan out. Thanks, OdD2oDd

To save a rendered pic, you need to click : file ---> export ---> image that should allow you to save your pic. All the best, Dal

Under Render Options choose "Render to a New Window". You can get larger images that way. For the clothing, select it, then from the conform menu choose "None". Do this until all the clothing is not conformed to the nude figure then delete the nude figure. Select each of the clothing figures one at a time and store them to the (clothing) figure library. You can easily add Morph Targets to the clothing with the magnet deformers. Yes regarding the transparencies, that is the way Poser works. You only get to see the effect upon rendering at which time the image may be saved. A tip to aid in the composition of scenes containing semi transparent objects is to set their display mode to cartoon. (Display/Element Style/Cartoon). In this way you can see what you are doing better.
As for the clothing, can you give an example. There are several types of clothing and a general answer at this point may lead to confusion.
Morph targets may be added to clothing. One way is to use the magnets. This is a whole topic on its own and a full answer would fill a book. My best advice if you are just starting is to give it a go, then holla and we will come and pull you out of the mire :)
Good luck
