The faq has been updated with more and more stuff, including tutorial links! Sorry it took so long blizzard in Colorado and all that.

Very handy! Thank you. From very sunny Southern California. :)

Thanks also - lots of very useful stuff and links. I was totally unaware that an interplay existed twixt the "Min shading rate" setting in Firefly, and the individual 'Shading rate' settings in Poser 'actors'. Great reservoir of information!

you want to add to that the following: Software that will Kill Poser 6 : Ultramon : if loaded Poser 6 exits to Desktop when attempting to open files. if Ultramon is exited P6 operates normally. Windowblinds: if installed Poser 6 will exit to desktop if normal operations (file opening etc) is attempted. this will occur even if Windowblinds has been unloaded (it's been in memory) or P6 is put on the exclusion list. the only fox is to uninstall windowblinds. Desktop X - As Windowblinds. more as I find 'em out...

Great info! I'd also love to know: 1. Once I've created a render and it gets added to the 'stack' - how do I dump it if I don't need it any more? I find no info about this anywhere, in manual or otherwise. I guess I just missed something. (?) 2. Can one have figure circle swiched OFF as default? 3. How can I reach Content Paradise with a browser, without using Poser? I can't stand that stupid totally clumsy non-standard interface... :o) 4. According to the manual (chap 15), the Library palette is supposed to have an option for setting icon size when the palette is in floating mode. I see no such option. What happened to it? Is the manual ahead of SW development? :] Fish

The temp folder is created in your system temp directory. It's called PoserRenderCache.
