Subject: will someone try something for me....

skee ( ) posted Wed, 13 April 2005 at 9:48 AM ยท edited Fri, 07 February 2025 at 3:52 PM

I have poser 6 and I have the hi res jessi loaded, I also loaded the bikini bottom and bikini top. After I save the image (pz3) and open it back up the bikini bottom will not show up. It is still listed as a figure, but it is not there. Can someone check this in there program to see if it is just me or is this another bug? skee

You are correct! This happens to me as well. No need for the straightjacket!

I`ve just tried it. When loading the file it asked for the location of BikinBottom.obj the one I found was Bikin_Bottom.obz Loaded ok. & Bikin Bottoms visible.

Have you installed the P6 content updater.

I noticed that when loading the BikiniBottom prop the texture did not show until I went to the materials library. This made me think that there was something wrong with the BikiniBottom prop file. When checking it I found that the .obj name fo the prop was BikiniBottom whereas the name in the geometries folder was Bikini_Bottom.obj not the missing _. When the file was saved it saved the .obj name as BikiniBottom hence Poser could not find the file. Usually when this happens a file browser is displayed for you to locate it. Yet you say that does not happen. Strange. However Poser will continuing loading and will load any reference to BikiniBottom, hence you will find the prop name but not it actual form. The problem lies in the BikiniBottom`s .ppz file as this has the wrong name i.e. it calls it BikiniBottom.obj. I would have though that CL would have been aware of this by now & updated it in the lateset content updater. You can of course change it yourself.

Thanks for all the research, do you think that CL should be informed of this so that they might fix this? I am surprised that so many things went unnoticed in the test of this program. The new features are nice, but if you can't use it what good is it. skee

Sounds like a good idea.
