Can you see the text in the 2 white boxes below ? which is visible the top or the bottom ?

I thought so. Thanks folks. This relates to a minor problem for merchants or anyone who want to use backgrounds for table cells on forum posts, product pages and content paradise co-branding. As you can see the text vanishes in the lower table. The solution is simple.... "FONT" tag should read.... "FONT face=xxx size=xxx color=xxx" and NOT "FONT face=xxx size=xxx" xxx are your values. Al

I see both of the boxes and all of the text. FYI. IE and Win XP Pro. Clint

Hmmm..I see text below "Test heading " on both boxes. IE and XP Pro.

No text in lower box. Ricardo will have fun trying to translate that, but in regard to the font tags, the W3C is planning to deprecate font color, and recommends using style sheets to specify such things, IIRC.

I can see both with Firefox. The same with Netscape 4.80. The top one is more easier to read

IE6, XP Pro SP2, latest patches: both boxes are OK.

Etiam EGO can animadverto utriusque boxes in Mozilla (1.6), Netscape (4.77), quod vel in Penitus Praemium :-)

AgentSmith ( ) posted Fri, 15 April 2005 at 2:34 AM

Hmmm, maybe the reason some see all the text and some don't have to do with a members color choices in their profile? I have black background with white text, (and cannot see the text in the bottom box) AS

AgentSmith is possibly correct about member's choice. I see both text messages (upper is black, lower is blue), but my background is deepest eggplant and my text is set to purples and blues. for cooler: shouldn't that be penitential praemium? ;^)

Agree with hauksdottir: in the default color sceme both textboxes show the text in black and the background in white. At least on IE6/WinXP SP2, latest patches.
