Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Mar 05 8:23 am)
Yeah i found that little nugget of annoyance as well, and noticed that anyone wanting to use your product and uses P4 or P5 wouldn't get the morphs to work thanx to that External morph file...makes you wonder why on earth CL bothered with it????
Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.

Turn OFF the external morph thing in your preferences.
Using them while creating content for different Unimesh figures will cause a sort of crosstalk with the injected morphs. I just spent the better half of today trying to figure out how the heck a saved MOR pose, with all morphs injected can look completely different from the original. Created an INJ..INJ worked, all morphs present accounted for and values the same..but..facial features were dramatically different.
What we finally discovered was that the cr2 used for the pose had been created before the external morph preference had been turned off. The project prior to that had used V3. Any same name morph injected into the new character (Maddie in this case)used the previous projects stored morph resources. We figured out which V3 character had been used and injected the same name V3 morphs into Maddie...VOILA! The face was finally the way it was created.
I hope this will solve some mysteries for some folks and help others avoid the insane asylum, lol.
