Hi Guys, Does anybody know what CGI animation is? Basically, I have a client that asked if I can do CGI animation - the answer is obviously no - but I would love to know what it is. Thanks.

Computer Generated Imagery. Tom

So in the industry, this would obviously include 3D max, poser, et.

I would say that any 3D application capable of rendering animation sequences would qualify. Some, obviously, are better at it than others. If youre considering decent animation, think about buying five or ten more computers to serve as render cows.
