I have got so caught up with image making I haven't written poetry in a while. Si I just thought I would post something that kinda took over me for a while. This poem wouldn't leave me alone until I had written it. P.S. I hope to get a bit more involved with the writing forum!

I know exactly how you feel. I have a few things in my head that won't shut up. I guess I will have to make time to write them down soon before it turns in to voices in my head.

One of the hardest things to do whether in poetry or prose in to convey a feeling. At first I was confused by your image, because of it's strong sexual allusion, bodies rising and falling in perfect unison. It's too bad that you feel that inner voice departs at daybreak, and that failing to resolve a wip is shameful....that voice should sing all the time. When you find youself staring at a spreadsheet, at two in the afternoon, and the voice mumbles in your ear, you are seduced away. It comes louder and louder until it grabs you. The words are suddenly there flowing like water: This dissonance is your baptism as a writer.

We would definitely love to have you here. Like dido6 said, I find that when the muse starts speaking, usually it's not a bad idea to listen ;) I hope to see more writings from you in the future! David L. Writer's Coord.
