Eerie...a very powerful vision of the Medusa. This is not a criticism, but did you experiment to see how she would look with a more human face? (I mean, possibly blending the snakeskin with a more human flesh on the facial area. Sort of a mix of beauty and savagery, which could be even more evil...especially with those incredible eyes you gave her!) Still, your interpretation of her is superb. You could leave it just like it is and it would be great. :) Are the snakes on her head poseable?

Balaan ( ) posted Tue, 30 January 2001 at 5:39 AM

yup the snakes are from the creature pack from the Daz-3d site and each is posable, i will have to try working her face a bit more to see if i can make her a bit more human looking hehehe

Yeah, I reckon she should have a more human looking face too, harsh, but still human looking. Think Ray Harryhausen and Jason and the Argonauts :) later jb

Make her blue I think if you make her blue it will give her a mystiqe look like from x men with scales, With the addition of the snakes I think it would look kinda erie.

Hi Folks! That's the most frightening visage of Medusa I've ever seen. Nice work, Balaan! Peter (Dr Zik)

I should have paid more attention to that creature pack at DAZ3D!!! I still cannot believe how awesome this picture is. You really outdid yourself, Balaan. I can hardly wait to see the updates on this WIP.

i was working on glowing eyes for the medusa character and heres the pict, after this i might work a bit on the texture around her face

praxis22 ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2001 at 6:04 AM

I think if you change the size of the scales (on her face) it would be good, large scales on the body are good, but it would make articulation of the face muscles difficult, especially around the eyes and mouth areas. later jb

now the question? does anyone know where i can find a forked tongue possibly a vicky one for this character? if i knew how to do morphs good i would do it but i just arnt good enough yet to make my own

praxis22 ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2001 at 9:12 AM

There is one out there, I've seen one, try the free-stuff here and at renderotica and 3dcommune, it should be there somewhere, failing that check the Vicky morphs on Morphworld, they may have something. later jb

Very well done, I like the body texture! I too think some smaller scales on her face would round it out great!

Balaan ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2001 at 3:29 PM

i checked , i cant find a forked tongue morph anywhere for vicky grrrr, well hopefully in time i will be able to either make one or find one somewhere
