Subject: 3D anatomy models (gore)?

Peacer ( ) posted Tue, 26 April 2005 at 7:31 PM · edited Sat, 10 August 2024 at 3:49 AM

Hey, I'm looking for some 3D models of gore... bloody carcasses, body parts, etc. I've searched the Free Stuff and Forums, but found nothing (only old, broken links). Any help would be great. Thanks!

We (Vanishing Point) are currently working on this. Ask MrSparky when it will be finished. Should be very soon though. Otherwise you have to go to Renderotica.

What I'd love to see is a good set of internal organs (anatomically accurate) that you could put into a transparent body tho make a sort of "visible man" sort of thing. I know that some are available, but not a complete set, and if I try to assemble a set from the freebies available, I can only hget a partial set (lungs, digestive tract, liver, diaphragm, brain, heart, kidneys but there's always a few things missing.

You can buy a full set from Zygote. Got oh, around $10,000 in spare change lying around? Sheesh, talk about spending an arm and a leg on body parts! ;-)

Peacer, John's right - I'm presently working on a realistic multiple severed limb prop and texture pack. It's being designed so.... ...you can choose what limb to "hack off", ...work with the vikis and mikes.... ...will also work with your existing favourite textures. ...have a small system footprint so it loads/renders fast ...maybe other things as well. (nice suggestions always welcome) I'm also aware that some people may find medical imagery upsetting (I'm the type that won't look during a blood test!) even though it's prime design aim is to be used in first aid books. So I'm taking real care here, I don't like upsetting people. Time frame ? Sometime at the end of the month or mid June 05 as I'm on vacation soon. al

ps: it WILL be cheaper than zygotes:. But you can pay 10,000 if you like :)

There is also something along these lines being developed for the Project Human line over at Sixus1. I'll see if Les or Rebekah can let us in on it's progress...

Cool, thank for the replies. I hope their projects are done soon since I'd like to get these things ASAP :)

I got a couple of 3D anatomy sets from this site last year. Used to be CacheForce, I believe. Not rigged for Poser, but still adequate for many uses.

Search for Digestive Organ or just Skeleton here at freestuff. You'll find a prop for Male Skeleton, looks quite good (it's without textures).

Davo has Gore Packs for Vicky and Mike (1-2) at Rotica that are very gory. Caps for limbs, necks, plus parts.

Already completed and awaiting release very soon (within the next month), we have skeletons and "viscera packs" for both the Project Human: Male, Project Human: Female, James and Jessi (P6). Preview images can be found in various threads on our support site (www.poserforums.com) and more are on the way. -Les

The stuff on 3D Special look great... but beyond my price range:-( I was hoping for something more along the lines of Daz's prices, which I normally spend around $20 to $30 for a good product. Plus, those props aren't specifically for Poser so I'd be risking it.

I checked out Davo's products and am quite intrigued. I was hoping for more "meaty" things that I can shape around to create things like tongues, etc., but I do like the severed limbs. I might consider purchasing this, but would it work for M3, or should I use the M3 to M2 model?

And to Ghelmer, I did receive your email. I sent a reply, hopefully you got this one :)

Thanks peoples! (Yes that was intentional grammar)

Not gore and some are useless low poly meshes, but there's some organs and bone structures at the provided link.
