Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 24 11:54 pm)
Oops.. yes, they're out there (I just don't have my database at hand at the moment). I do it on a regular basis, so the only 'gotcha' is the outer eyeballs; they come in as white spheres. If you select the outer eyeball (ctrl+mouse click), and go to glasses, then select the most transparent one, that should do you. Bryce will also ask for the location of the .jpgs that make up the textures, so you might want to copy them to a location you can find (or at least know where they're stored). If it gets all the textures, you should be good to go.
btw, there's a new version of Bryce coming out next week, it's owned by DAZ (the same folks who make Vickie, Mike, and Daz Studio ['ees a witch! burn him!..;) I haven't checked but I think you might be able to pose stuff in Daz studio and/or Bryce (don't quote me on this). Ordinarily, when you export the .obj file, it's imported 'as posed'..

Daz Studion has a plugin that packs everything nicely to export to Bryce. Otherwise with Poser its a matter of exporting the scene as object then using "Grouper" (a free tool) to group your textures to the figure - otherwise your texture list is huge, from there it's a matter of adjust, adjust adjust. There is a tutorial on the DAZ site explaing the process of Poser -> Bryce.(well there used to be in Arcana) The beauty of using D|S and the plugin is all the trans maps come in set up.....
