Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 26 8:04 pm)
Could be a memory issue. Hair and cloth sims are memory-intensive, and Poser's famous memory leak takes its toll after awhile. It's a problem in P5, too, but not as bad as in P6.
If the sim's not running right, I exit Poser and get back in again, and it's usually fixed.
With P6, you should save often, under different filenames, because it tends to nuke the whole file when it has memory problems.

Uuuhhhh... Not sure what is going on here, but I keep having results that are super inconsistent. The main case in point is an animation sequence I set up with V3, a character package called "Obsession" and some dynamic clothes from HMann (and some dynamic hair that worked well). The dynamic clothes were fine until, suddenly, when I went to calculate frames all I got was the drape sequence.
I have learned to cut back my render time some, but this was a good deal of work that looks like it will be trashed. Have any of you dealt with this refusal to recalculate frames????
