Subject: Depth of Field - Help!

I'm so utterly frustrated and confused about Depth of Field. Is there a good tutorial on how to do DOF somewhere? One that specifically tells you how to adjust it (so that you can set where the blur starts). The only thing I've been able to do is mess with dials, which takes a long long time and never comes out right (dials on the main camera that is), and the pdf that came with P6 doesn't seem to really be too helpful. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Stewer has a tutorial and a small Python script to find the correct distance for dof. Mazak

Awesome! Thank you very much! I feel kind of stupid as I actually have his site bookmarked. I'm going blind in my old age. Thanks again :)

If you go to "Display", and then "Guides", you can turn on the Focus Distance Guide. Then, you just adjust the "focus_Distance" of the camera that you're going to use until the guide is at the same distance as whatever it is that you want to be in focus.

AFAIK, the guide is new in P6
