Are they in a runtime folder? If so, and you are NOT using a Mac computer, you can drag that runtime to your Poser folder and when you get the message "will overwrite files..." click "ok". It will automatically place the files in the appropriate folders, and won't delete the files inside the poser runtime.
If you are on a Mac, you can't do that because it will delete that poser runtime and replace it with the one you are dragging there.
That link explains file locations. At the bottom if you click the word "here" you will be taken to a more detailed explanation. I have a link to a better image than that on my desktop, but I'm not logged in there right now. It's a picture that actually shows the files extensions that go into each folder. That's how I learned. This link is good too though, but it doesn't have the file extensions next to the folderes like the one I can't locate right now.

"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
