Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. I appreciate your assistance. My intention is to upload prop type models rather than characters or creatures. Your opinions on the sample of prop pictures I have included would be helpful. It was mentioned by Anton Kisiel that over detailed readme files are a must. Could someone tell me what information is required. Although I'm not new to modelling, I have not tried to sell any of my work as yet so I am ignorant of what information should accompany any uploads. Thanks is advance. Shane

First thing you want to have in the file is your contact e-mail address for customer support, and detailed installation instructions. Also, usage restrictions and copyright notice.

These look VERY nice! How big are they? What format are you going to provide them in? Keep up the good work!

heyas; i agree, very nice models. good job :) here's what i put in my readmes (note, do NOT name them readme.txt! give them the same name as the item/zipfile, but with the txt extension.) 1: title (name of the prop or stuff in the zip), creator and creator web page/email 2: copyright notice (state you built the item yourself, or have permission to modify someone else's; spell out whether they are released to the public domain (free for any use/modifications), whether they are free for any use except redistribution, or whether they are free only for non-commercial use, or (as some people prefer) they are not for any use at all ;) ) 3: packing list: list the file names of the stuff in the zip, what they are, and where to extract them. 4: any details: detailed instructions on use, notes on use, special quirks, etc.
