Subject: P6 Content Paradise window empty

selkins16 ( ) posted Thu, 12 May 2005 at 12:02 PM · edited Thu, 26 December 2024 at 11:09 AM

Hi, is anyone else having problems with the Content Paradise window in P6 but me? It used to work. I haven't used it in a while (maybe not since the content update came out). When I click on it, I get an empty white window where the site used to show up. Has this happened to anyone else and you could share what you did to repair it? Thanks so much!

Personally, I have never tried to access CP thru rhe Content Room, because of all the problems I've heard epople report with accessing it thru P5 nad 6 I figured I'd just save myself a lot of trouble and use the regular website.

I just pulled it up, no problems here. Sorry.

Oops, sorry, didn't read the post wwell enough. I never use the P6 window. Like martian_manhunter, I have heard too many problems with it, and I got a stupid white screen when I first installed Poser 6. So I just go to www.contentparadise.com.

Okay, thank you both! I must have done something silly to it! ;)

I installed P6 yesterday and CP was working from within P6 but I firewalled it. I decided I would rather access CP externally so I could keep control of it. Just tried it now... from within P6 and received can't connect to internet screen... un-firewalled it and I get a white screen as well. Doesn't help you much, but.. at least you know it's not just you :-)

Thanks Ziggie, that helps actually... I'm betting hubby did something to the router! :) I think you're all right about connecting via the web anyway. Especially since we see that it's quirky. So, I think I'll not worry about fixing it and visit via IE. Thanks again!

Fixed. We made a design change to CP last night and it broke the in-app version. Its working now. -Rylan

I saw the new design. I like it better. Not a big change, but it does look more appealing on the home page. I have to tell you guys, I am impressed with your use of a black background. I have traditionally ignored sites that use black as a background because it makes it so hard to read. CP did a great job of making it very visible.

The freebies have done a lot to get people over there, too. Yesterday I went over there to get the new scarab and actually made a purchase.

It sure is working now Rylan, thank you!! Mine is back to normal. I'm glad I didn't get to hubby first, I was sure he messed with the router again! hehe

Rylan, Can I put in a plea to have PayPal be added? It would make small spur-of-the-moment purchases easier, and some of us keep money in a PayPal account just for online shopping. Carolly

I will throw my 2 cents in and agree with hauksdottir. Please introduce PayPal! Some of us will only use PayPal online these days.
