Subject: What files won't work in Daz Studio?

I'm trying to help someone who is learning Poser (LOL, the blind leading the blind), but she also has Daz Studio and uses that which I don't. She's frustrated because she will be using Daz and somethings will work and others won't. Is there an easy way to know which files will work in Daz, and which she will need to open poser to use?

Anything dynamic, anything with magnets won't work. Poser 5/6 materials won't work, though it may be possible to reproduce at least some of them in the Surfaces palette (displacement works in D|S, for example, as do true reflection maps; procedural, combination and mathematical functions don't). Joint-parameter pses don't work. You can't load Obj files as morphs targets.

And you can bet all these things will become commercial plug-ins...

Give me procedural textures support and I immediatelly say good-bye to P4 ;-)
