When saved, neither movies are accepted by Quicktime for replay. Any solutions appreciated.

Not the answer Shonner--can't get that close to opening. Drop downs say either not a file that QT understands (the htm) or, when I have changed to .mov a dropdown says a problem with the plugin! I am again having problems with DLoads of Carrara files from the forums, which download as .htm which, when I change to .car won't open in Carrara. And it's not Monday!

Obviously his browser converts everything to htm, which is, as you said, not good...

Shonner. That did not work. Are you saying that you HAVE downloaded those two movies, AND saved them, AND replayed them satisfactorily? Please! And also, can anyone answer the problem with downloading the .car files please. (The computer does not convert MOV files to HTM it downloads the HTMs and I can not convert to acceptable .MOV files--I hope that is what I said originally!)

Shonner thanks but, I have found I can save .MOV or .CAR files if I Right Click-Save Target As- AND SPECIFY "All Files". However, the two files of this thread ARE .htms and whilst I can get them to play I can not save them to my files and replay them. Are you saying you can?

Shonner yes, BUT can you save them to your files for later replay? As first asked at the beginning of this thread!

Just drag the files from your Internet cache folder to your files folder.

Shonner--Nomenclature! Spent all the morning--complete computer search trying to find "Internet cache folder" or derivitives of same, without luck. EVENTUALLY found, by luck, "Temp Internet Files" in a very wierd location! Learn something new every day--I guess Thanks!

I figured 50-50 that you would get the generic folder reference. Search for *.MOV on your drive and you will probably find other Eovia movies you've watched. Yes, the cache folders have weird names. I think Internet Explorer uses five different ones.
