hi guys... I just threw this together for the underwater challenge... For those who are questioning the title of this image... Organized crime syndicates were said to pour cement into a tub and put the feet of people that were to be "disposed" of in the tub. When the cement hardened, they would throw the tub of cement and person into a body of water to get rid of them. This was called "getting a pair of cement shoes." As you can see in the image, the guy in the center has his feet embedded into a tub of cement...and this appears to be a place where others have gotten a pair of "new shoes." I think I'll pass on getting a pair :) comments? BT

heh thanx guys... at first I was going to do something cliche' like a crashed ship, sunken sub, or similar...but for some reason this came to me... maybe I have issues I need to work thru? lol anyhow, the challenge is officially underway...since there is now one entry... image specs: file size 247 mb render time ~20 hours creation time ~5 hours plants from 3dplants.com the hair on the guy in the foreground is actually strands that I modelled in Raydream then scattered on his head the water is a mixture of sky settings and a volumetric slab.. the caustics were created by shining a volumetric light thru an infinite plane that is on top of the slab... umm the 1 zillion bottles and cans I made as seafloor garbage must have been swept away by a vicious current, because I only see a few of them..lol and when you meet the guys who are doing this, be sure to turn and walk away..........quickly :) BT
