I read some license agreements that said you could use the model in a render image for commercial purposes, but could not distribute the model itself for others. That in mind, check with a copyright lawyer. I believe that if you change the image a certain percentage you are free to call it your own. Don't know how this applies to electronic stuff but it's worth a consultation.

Hi all, I am sure this has been asked before, but I missed it. I have a picture that I rendered that I would like to sell--the final rendered image itself, not the models or the Bryce scene. I own most of the models used in the scene, but there are a few in there that I downloaded from the freestuff section here and from other sites on the net. Do I need to ask the creators of those models and textures for permission to sell the final rendered image or only their models and textures individually? Forgive me for asking this, but I really would like to know before I go out and do something really stupid. TNX
