I'm thinking of buying Poser 6. Can anyone tell me if the quality of the renders is so much better than the previous edtitions?

It is. Takes some getting used to, I'm still learning, but in Poser 6 it's possible to have realistic lighting effects where feet meet the ground, for instance (Ambient Occlusion). Not possible in earlier versions of Poser.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
