That is amazing! I never knew the middle of the night could be so bright. I'm in California and it get pitch black here (unless the moon is bright). Well, I learn something new every day. :) This photo looks more like evening time. Of course at this moment it's almost 3pm here. :) Thanks for sharing, Andreas!

MORNING!!! Psssst...Kimmie...."awesome work"??? LOL, i sure hope ive taken better shots than that before #:op Yeah, that was taken at almost 2 am, and this morning when i drove to work at 5.20 am i had to wear my sunglasses cause the sun was up real high...sigh....so you can imagine you dont need that much sleep during this bright season. I sleep about 3-5 hours a night and get by just fine. Wintertime on the other hand, there aint many hours of sunlight a week. There are places further norht of here, where the sun doesnt rise for weeks. Suicides can be quite high in those places, cause people get depressed....kinda like living in a bag of potatoes i suppose...ooops...me getting back to work now. Thanks for keeping the paddle warm for me Cindy, ill holler when i feel the need for a spanking #:o)
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I wouldn't have a problem living in Sweden 'cause i usually go to bed around the time the sun is rising!!! i love nothing more than sleeping with the sun shinin' on my face. i have our bedroom blinds closed but that's it! i prefer to sleep in the sunlight. i'm weird i guess. thanks for showing the picture! hope you'll post another one in june and july when it's really bright! i'd like to see! didn't realize there were places in sweden where the sun doesn't rise for weeks. i don't know if i could handle that. I ADORE the sun!!! Winters here are hard on me when we don't get much sun...makes me feel down in the dumps. I feel sorry for those people. thanks again for showing and telling! I like show and tell!!!! :) who's next? :)
Hey Andreas !! :o) Thats really bright for 2 am, thanks for showing us this !! I think ill have to see it for myself sometime though. Not that i dont believe you LOL but i think it would be awesome to experience it. And Sweden is a beautiful country anyways. :o) I would say have a great weekend but i see you have to work :o( Dont work to hard then buddy, see ya around :o)
"Dont work to hard then buddy" I can assure you...no chance that will ever happen, LOL!!! I even brought my cam to work today, so that i have something to do when i get bored...alot of mean seagulls around here. Maybe ill shoot one of those...hmm...wish someone could shoot them for real actually. They have laid their eggs now and you just have to come within a 100 yards from them and they attack you. A co-worker actually got his head pocked open by one...right on the bald spot, lol. Bled quite well. Oooops...here i go again...bla bla bla....

LOL you arent kidding !!?? :o) If that were in holland they would come up with all sorts of idiotic devices lol, once the ran around with a megaphone lmao another time they had this machine that made noise. There were crows then that were terrorising the neighbourhood, not in ours though... saw it on the news :D If your not gonna work, have a great time doing nothing then LOL ;o)
Awe...of course i dont Pascale. I couldnt hurt a fly even if my life depended on it. I actually hit a frog the other day with my car and i felt bad for days...even though he appareantly was jaywalking...sigh....so yes that was a lame attempt to a joke.

Reminds me of playing cards with my cousins on a trip to Belgium. I know it's not as far north but we were suprised to find it was 11 pm and the sun was still above the horizon. It felt like we had been playing a long time but we thought we hadn't because it was still bright outside but when we checked our watches it really had been a long time!
Dear Zacko, an old and lost friend of mine is from that part of the world, a bit more north. She said the days were strange...then when the dark times came later in the year, it was like watchng a stage play with lighted homes or here and there, like on a stage. Interesting. I would take years to adapt to this lighting. The change here from standard to daylight time as it is takes about 3 months for me. Thanks for the neat shot and enlightening one, too.
