EDIT: Do you mean for the Morphing Starlet Dress? There are some free textures in free stuff if you search "Starlet". And here is the link to the other thread you were talking about.

Foxseelady,

Whatcha working on?

Out of the three dresses Fantasy,Starlet, and cocktail, the fantasy one caught all the attention. So glad someone is a fan of the Starlet Dress.

Funny but the Starlet dress idea started as an idea for a sheer shell see pic. I forgot I still had this old ref pic. All the morphs where done to match leg poses that were forgotten, so the legs can match up in sheet transparencies.

Wow! I love that reference picture. hehe. Anybody got a texture that looks like that. Or any hints on how to accomplish that in the Material room on my own? Haven't had much time to play with P6 yet, so not quite sure how I'd do it.

Or any hints on how to accomplish that in the Material room on my own? If you're talking about the sequined one, check out the free P6 materials at RDNA. There are some nice glitters and sequins in there, along with satin, leather, and suede. Cool stuff!

hehe...well actually I was thinking more of the see-thru one, but I'll check out their materials. Thanks.

You might be able to use the sequins or glitter, but set the transparency node at about 10-15% (in other words, 85-90% opaque). I'd try that for starters. 8-)

I don't have any settings but you could try using the default dress texture as a transmap and play with falloff.
