This is for using in the foreground.It uses "shadow maps" to fake light going through the trees leaves.In reality, there are no leaves, just 3 planes with shadow maps.And of course the tree trunk.The tree trunk texture is a modified bark texture AS had posted in the forum a while ago(dont beat me up AS).I made a bump map for it and turned it into a .mat bryce file.The shadow maps are also supplied in .mat format to keep filesize low for 56k users.The download id 1Mb or a slight bit more.

Awesome, thank you! Yeah, sorry about that, I forgot to include a readme.txt for the tree bark. I always make everything I give away public domain. I surrender any copyright, and anyone can anything they want with it, period. Thanks again!! AS

Cool...I was worried for a bit there...i would have changed it if I had to.I'll probably make enough freebies to do a whole forest scene.Then there is the texture add on packs......

I have a few more tree bark textures from that day of picture taking. They are just the raw photos, not seamless or anything, but I could could post'em up in the backroom if ya want? AS
