Ok I managed to get the texture to work thank you all for your help. Ok the next thing is how do I get the clothes to fit correctly. Is there an easier way? what dials should I be moving? either someone give me a tip or point me in the direction of a tutorial that wil lhelp me. Again thank you Andy

hmm which clothing are you using? Dynamic clothing or conforming clothing? Conforming clothing you will go to ''Figure>Conform to And choose which model you want it to fit i.e figure 1 dynamics..is the cloth room and im lost there but I am sure DR.Geep has a few nice tutorials for ya to choose from :) you can find him by doing a search or searching a few threads here i saw links to his tuts also
