...paint can! Flood fill that is. How do I get rid of it? It's not at the Eyedropper tray.... Hard to pose a figure when this happens. No clue what I did. P6

Just click on one of the other Editing Tools, like Rotate, Twist, Translate/Pull, etc.

Usually my cursor turns into a paint bucket when I inadvertantly press "Start" instead of "Ctrl" or "Alt". It's happened to my in P4, P5, and P6.

It happens when you press the 'Windows' key. Been there since P4 and it took me a long time to figure out why it happened. mac

'Editing tools were off' Just press the kb letter for the tool you want. T = translate R = rotate W = twist etc. mac

Thanks Mac. I'll steer clear

This happens if you're a "keyboard person" and try to conform a piece of clothing to a figure: you go to the Figure Menu and hit "c" (for "Conform To"), but if the "Figure" menu hasn't appeared yet, Poser thinks you meant "'c'- change to the Color tool". Just do what maclean suggests and hit another key to switch to another tool. And the proper term for that tool is the "Paint Can" or the "Color Tool"... it's not called the "#!@#$%^&* Tool". :-) --John
