Subject: Removing clothing and/or props from a PZ3?

There are a lot of wonderful characters being saved as PZ3 with all of their clothing and prop items attached. Is there any way to remove the clothing and props and save them out for use on other figures? (Naturally, I mean to do this only for my own images, and not to redistribute anything.) If anyone can help with an answer, thanks in advance!

Nice thing about P4 and it's updtes- You can save multi-figure characters in your character library, ie as CR2's. So load the PZ3, and save each piece as a sepertate piece into your clothing library. Heck, you can even save the entire PZ3 as one character CR2, and be rid of the PZ3.

In Poser4 select the clothing, then from the "Conform to.." menu choose "None". Then you can save the various clothing figures to the libary without the Nude figure going along. Select the prop then save it to the prop library. If they are parented you'll be asked if you want to save them as a "smart prop". Smart props remember the bodypart they were parented to when they are loaded from the library.

It worked on the first try! (And for me, that is saying something lol) Thanks so much for your help, Jeff and WarriorDL :)))
