My wife organised a surprise weekend to London for our 5th wedding aniversary. So I've been playing the tourist :) So I found the Tardis (for those that know what the Tardis is... shame on you :)

What's a tourist to do in London.. right.. see the change of the guards!.. Little did we know that just that day there was no change of the guards, but a rehearsal for the festivities next week for the Queen. So we watched the redcoats march around and I spotted this lad.

How the heck did he see anything? Here's a closeup. I think his bearskin shifted but protocol prevents him from righting it... I guess :P

On to the tower bride. Just before all hell broke loose as you can see from the clouds :( It was raining 'cats and dogs' as the English say. Shot a whole lot of photo's but I'll have to sort them out... just got home. So that's what I've been doing the last few days.. getting sore feet.

Yep I know what the Tardis is sorry! And was brought up on Dr who lol! Although special effects were somewhat limited in those days. Buffy is either very small of you are a big guy! I have always wondered how the hell they see from under that head piece! Looks like a typically British sky lol Nice set of images, hope you had a great time. Glasgow is only 400 miles from London
