I think they are rather nice so went be tearing them apart at all.
No1 Has super composition with the stream leading away between the trees. It would be impossible to get the whole exposed right because of the difference between the dark tree trunks and the patches of sun. It doesn't bother me at all. You could make a feature of it if you wanted to by selecting the dark areas and making the lighter areas soft focus with halos to give it a dreamy look.
No2 Is a good water shot showing great movement in the water, not too much so it goes milky just the right amount to show it is moving.
Two nice shots is my vote :) ooops you put up a 3rd one now :) - thats good too same as for no1 good compo showing height and could easily be a dreamy shot :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Thanks so much! The dreamy look is what I planned to do, with the last one especially. (you read my mind!) I love the sunlight and find myself always shooting spots of sun. The hightlights turn white more often than not though. I'm glad you like these! Practice, practice! :)

I'm glad you all liked them. I used to go to the redwoods in Humbolt County, just south of Jedidiah (same one? in CA?). Wonderful place to take pics although I have only done it once up there. I could spend days in the redwoods taking pics. Anyway, thanks for your wonderful comments. Now I'm off to figure out which to put in my gallery next. :)

Here are some images from a short trip I took to the small redwood park near my home (the park isn't as good as the BIG ones a few hours north of here). I would like some opinions on how to make them better or what is good or bad about them. I realize I didn't take them at a good time of day (almost noon! but it wasn't my fault!). I also know some of the highlights are too much.....I also don't know how to fix that...is there a way? Anyway, here are my amature pics for you to tear apart. ;)
