Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
there's several approaches, but here's an easy one.
A complete figure will put files in several directories in Poser. Create a directory (folder) with a unique name, and execute the Aiko file (it will run itself). When it asks for the directory to download to, you can send it to this newly created directory. It will unzip the files, then you just go through the 'new' directory, and copy the folders to their respective locations. Look in the Frequently asked questions above in the forum for a chart to show where everything goes.
Or, you can just point the installation file to your Poser 'Runtime' directory which usually works (unless you're like me and have 2 versions of Poser (3 and 4..;) and Daz Studio..the installer gets confused at this point..shouldn't be a problem for ya, though..;)

The Daz3D install routines have changed over the years, but Aiko 3 is pretty recent. Once you've installed one, the folder for that will be the default for the next, if you're using Pakled's method. I'd just let the installer handle it. Check it's going to the right Poser runtime. Make sure you have the uninstall option active. The Opera web browser gets confused by the readme option. Pakled is talking about potentially huge sets of figures and props and stuff for Poser. It's not something to worry about yet.
