THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Wow, have you seen the Bryce gallery lately?

My first thought was honestly 'Where'd all the crap go?' I think we're in the middle of one of those big surges of incredible artwork. I just sifted through the latest few pages and am simply in awe. Look for yourself. The hot 20 is also slightly more crapless than usual! Go check the gallery before it's too late!

Yes, I had noticed this. I think it started at least a few days back, when I posted my "Traug" pic. There sitting right next to the cute little Traugs was this beautiful image of something I can't remember (made a major impression on me as you can tell). Interesting. I've also noticed that recently (though not terribly recently) I've seen the surfers online up above 3000, which I'd never seen before. It seems to have bottomed out again, which is a shame.

Even I must admit that the Bryce galleries look much more compelling and inspiring than the Vue galleries do. They are so boring, it's to much simple eco stuff over there. Technology has killed art..... Bryce beats Vue 5 Infinite whn it comes to art for sure!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

aeilkema-- First time I've ever heard anyone say that! I'd love Vue if I could afford it.

Aye, and it's been due for some time if you ask me... I think that the forums have also seen a great influx of newer additions that are more than willing to learn, expand, and bring up great questions that ultimately benefit everyone involved. It's more like a school taught by a bunch of professors, to other professors. Even the new professors are amazing and full of insight...! Off to check the galleries anew and leave some comments...!

I'm not saying that I do think that Bryce 5.5 is better then Vue 5 or Vue 5 Inifite. I still think Vue 5 & Vue 5 Infinite are far ahead of Bryce. The only thing I've noticed that the quality in the Bryce 5.5 galleries has improved a lot, while the quality in Vue galleries has gone down (a lot imo). Also a lot of the Vue images are very uninspiring, you can clearly see it has been made with the ecosystem, it seems to create lazy artists for the time being.

I realize what you meant. The same thing happens to the Poser people. Very few of them make their own textures, characters, models, etc. They even don't make their own backgrounds, but just use someone else's. With our luck Bryce6 will have some great new feature that automatically generates scenes, and Bryce will end up the same as everything else...
