How do you select just a polygon or face in blender, do you have to select all the vertices , thus selecting the face or is there a way to select the faces by clicking on the faces. Mike

ysvry, Thanks for the response, I had 2 3d view windows open and these icons were off the screen when there are 2 3d views open. I haven't played with blender in quite a while. Mike

Mike! Hey! Ctrl-Tab will change between the selection modes so you don't have to use the icons if you don't want too. Nice to see you playing with blender. Also, if you are using the manipulators ctrl space bar will allow you to change which manipulator you are using. Brian

Brian, Thanks, I was hoping there was some sort of hotkey for this. I am just playing with blender as I haven't looked at it in a long while. Mike
