With its intricate stonework detailing and gorgeous suspended dais with bookstand, all you need to do is change the lighting to set the mood! Now for something completely different, longtime DAZ contributor Serge brings us the Cannon Pack. This pack contains four standalone cannon figures already pre-scaled for standard Poser 4 humanoid figures. Textures and templates for all items are included in the pack. All the moving parts of these cannons have their rotation limits pre-set, and all unused dials have been hidden.

Laure and Lisa delight those of us with offline brown thumbs by releasing two more of her lovely (and impossible to kill) 3D botanicals!

The first of these is Honeysuckle for Poser, DAZ|Studio and Bryce. This package has four Honeysuckle objects and four textures (two white and two peach colored) There are 16 preloaded pose files included to create a variety of looks in your scenes. As an added bonus, the Honeysuckle bushes share UV Mapping with Lisas Briar Rose collection. If youd like to create dense bushes of roses you can manually apply those textures to the Honeysuckle objects. (I tried it it works!)

The unique combination of photo-real textures and transmapping makes these bushes extremely light on system resources, and perfect for mid-ground and background placement in your renders!

Next we have Deadly Beauty a new texture set for last weeks Wisteria release. Deadly Beauty, also known as Datura, is a vine that is as dangerously powerful as it is lovely. From Wikipedia:

Quote: Datura was supposedly used in witchcraft to induce hallucinations. If one ingests the plant, one does not stop dreaming even when awake. Hallucinations caused by anticholinergics are extremely powerful in that they can create fully realistic three-dimensional objects that blend in perfectly with the person's view of the world.

which makes it a particularly appropriate addition to DAZ's Botanicals!

This texture package is applied to Wisteria vines, and can then be used in Poser, DAZ|Studio or Bryce. For users of DAZ|Studio, there is an additional bonus in the inclusion of displacement maps, used to give a great 3D appearance to these flowers and vines. The displacement maps can also be used in Poser 5 and 6, but must be applied manually.

Download Size
.sit = 3.5 MB for Poser & 3.8 MB for D|S
.exe = 3.1 MB for Poser & 2.9 for D|S
Cost
Regular Price = $12.95
PC price $1.99 =
Your savings = $10.96

Your total savings this week = $66.83

We hope you enjoy the products for this week. As always, if you have any questions about anything, please post them here or contact a member of the PC Team!

Happy rendering,

Susan

I like the cannon pack..what we need now is a ship's deck and gunport prop, plus breeching ropes/tackle to go with the naval ones. I only have on criticsm of the land cannon..the wheels look a lil too light to stand up to the recoil.
