In Poser 6 when I choose one of the translation tools and click on a figures body part, making sure the actual part is the active part and try to manipulate the body parts sometimes the came seems to be moving instead of the figure body part. The camera isn't the active actor in my list though, what's causing this?

I don't know what is causing that, but I would suggest that you do not use the translation tools.

Select the bodypart you want to pose and then use the parameter dials to move it instead.

Depends on the camera you are using. Face, hand, and pose cameras are parented to the figure.

Okay, that explains it, I was using the Pose and Face cameras.
