What do you mean by "80s gear"?

"Flashdance"-style torn sweats and legwarmers?

Suits with linebacker shoulder pads?

Exotic oriental, like Patti Smith's leather kimono?

Cyndi Lauper rainbow hair?

Wearing underwear as outerwear?

Izod shirts, bike shorts, stirrup pants?

They weren't hats--they were "energy domes" :-)

I've seen lots of 80s inspired clothes, but there's no way to search for them specifically. You probabably need to go through the whole list of V3 clothes here and spot 80s stuff by eye. The one other place where I often look for clothes in PoserPros. Quite a few things you could do yourself though. The early Madonna look was just based on several layers of clothes and lots of lace (use transmaps to simulate lace). For logos, like Izod, find a picture of the alligator, use it as a guide to draw one in Photoshop/PaintShopPro/Gimp, and then apply it in the appropriate place on a texture map. For a torn sweater, you can use a transmap to do that. (I did buy a pole-dancer package called Night Fever which had the exact copy of the pose for the bucket-of-water scene in Flashdance.) You could make the Devo hat out of primatives- it's just a stack of circles. Svdl has a free kimono, and you can simulate leather by turing off the transparency and setting a near-white spectacular color. I once made a picture of a guy in a big suit like David Byrne's in Stop Making Sense- all I did was take a normal suit figure and increased the xscale to 150% or something like that.
