Lots of models here (pp2 for poser format, but if you change it to obj you can import it fine).Attached Link: http://edogoyomi.page.ne.jp/3dedo/tsuyama/index.html
@Creations, that was the link i was thinking of, great that somebody still knew. My link leads to another part of that site where you can download an castle and its surrounding buildings. I should post some pictures of Himeji castle that i made in the summer of 2004. Its so beautifull and awe inspiring. http://homepage1.nifty.com/hakka/edo/3dedo/index.html For the gallery of the person who made all these models.Robert van der Veeke Basugasubasubasu Basugasubakuhaku Gasubakuhakuhaku!! "Better is the enemy of good enough." Dr. Mikoyan of the Mikoyan Gurevich Design Bureau.
Groingrinder made one and offered it as freebie in the Bryceforum two years back or so.

Ok found the thread and the link.Ahemmm, Bryce5 supports several model formats, open a new scene file, in the 'File' menu run down it to 'import object', go to where you cached the japanese model and clic 'open' wait for it to load into Bryce and voilla! there it is! If you save it to you objects library, Bryce will make it an OBP for you and then you can export it to another folder for safe keeping.....=)

import the model you want to save, texture it, etc.
above the work space you will find the tool bar, this one happens to have edit open, but you can get to 'Create' from either.
Next to 'Create' there is a tiny triangle, click it to open the objects library, normally this will be the 'Installed' library, I happened to be in a library I created called 'downloads', you would use the 'User'
Locate the category you want to add your model to, mine is 'spaceships', this category MUST have black blank spaces to be able to add to it. at the bottom of the objects dialog you will see 'Add', click it, insert the name you wish to save the model under, click on the checkmark or the 'x' to close.
It is not recommended that you add more than 22 items to any one category as Bryce will envitably lose it or it will become corrupted, no reason why, just happens. If you need more space create another category from a 'blank' object preset.
The model is now in Bryce obp format, and can be exported as such for backup, for freestuff, etc.

I making a quaint looking scene. From japan, which i saw recently. However rice fields and mountains will not help to give it a japanese feel. Does anyone know where i can get several japanese styled homes?
