Subject: Poser-Pro log in problems

revric ( ) posted Fri, 01 July 2005 at 9:20 PM · edited Wed, 25 December 2024 at 9:25 PM

Does anyone else have problems logging into Poser-Pro? When I try to enter one of the forums or to download the freebe I am sent to the log in window. I click on the log in button and then I am returned to the login window. I tried to change my password and get the same thing. If I can't log in, how can I buy anything from the website. I get the feeling DAZ might be trying to get the customers over to DAZ. OK, now you can flame me for the last remark.

Yep, having trouble logging in. I enter the information, but never login, lol I sent Guarie an email.

Well, so much for the email. It was returned as invalid. Hope someone from there sees this thread.

Hello? Did you send the email to storeadmin@poserpros.com? There was a system hiccup about 10 minutes ago - it seems to be working now.

No. I sent it to the one in your profile listed next to "MSN Messenger".

I was just there and can't login. I don't get an error or anything. It's as though I never entered any information. EDIT: I deleted cookies and cache and it seems ok now :) Thanks

Actually, no it's not ok. I login and it takes me to the forums. I then click "Store" in the menu and get taken to the store, but I'm no longer logged in. So I login again and get taken to the forums where I'm shown as logged in, but when I click store to go there, I seem to log out.

Yeah - believe it or not I'm logged out of my own site. I tried to create the same problems you guys were having and succeeded too well. I've emailed the other Admins to get an emergency number so we can see if someone can fix this problem. sigh

Well, you can slum here, hehe

Well I just got back in. I deleted ALL my PP and Daz cookies and tried again and I got through. Try that and tell me how you go.

guarie ( ) posted Fri, 01 July 2005 at 10:01 PM

Nah - i was kidding myself. That only gets me into the first page like revric was having. Still trying to get hold of someone.

rain ( ) posted Fri, 01 July 2005 at 10:11 PM

Nope, not working. I managed to log in but when I went and put an item in to my cart I got an error message.

guarie ( ) posted Fri, 01 July 2005 at 10:15 PM

I've finally got hold of someone and they're going to try and fix it for us right now. So hopefully this will be fixed soon.

rain ( ) posted Fri, 01 July 2005 at 10:55 PM

Thanks! I'll try again later.

I'm heading to bed shortly.... as soon as the fireworks end. They use some kind of military equipment to fire them off and my entire apartment is shaking, LOL I doubt that even the dead were able to sleep through the noise, hehe. I'll check back with Poser Pros tomorrow.

It should be fine now. :)

rain ( ) posted Sat, 02 July 2005 at 1:45 AM

Thanks :) It's working.

revric ( ) posted Sat, 02 July 2005 at 5:42 AM

I can get now as well. Thanks for checking on this so quickly. Now I just need to see if I can use my poor credit card there before the end of the two for one sale. You do take melted plastic, don't you?

I have been plagued by this problem for a long time. Cleaning out the cookie drawer with Norton worked for a while before the techies closed that door. I managed to get in and actually buy something today by going through my AOL browser, the Microsoft browser still won't allow the cookies to stay down.

Switch to Mozilla browser. It's much better than the others :)
