Subject: Increasing chest size for women models

mandyyjobs ( ) posted Mon, 04 July 2005 at 10:16 AM ยท edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 7:06 AM

Is there a way to increase the chest size for women models (JUDY). I have to make 4 women, it would be nice to vary the size of their chest to make them a little different. Thanks

This is easly done with poser magnets. You can find plenty of tutorials on the magnets I am sure....I wish I had time to write some. You can do just about anything with magnets once you get good at them :)

Set your magnets up for multiple groups and clothing groups also if you like to make clothing mimic the body shape. I have Conversion Kits in the Market Place that use magnets to deform clothing geometries. Those who buy this package could load my magnets individually and see how they work - I am not hiding anything.

An easy way to create variety without a lot of work is to check some Free Stuff areas for character kits. Skin color and hair style will go a long way to differentiate characters. If you're trying to do this quick and cheap, I'd recommend playing with scaling to add variety to figure size. Scale down on the y-axis to make shorter but a bit thicker, scale some individual body parts (a little, not a lot). That way you don't have to worry about clothes morphs- all you have to do is use the same scaling settings on the clothes. (When you do this, conform the clothes first, and then apply the scaling settings. Conforming the clothes will undo your scaling settings.)

willdial and Boobrepli have morphs/injectors that can do this..but be careful what you wish for..;) I think Willdial's have several different characters, while Boobrepli's are mainly for Vicky..

You could also play around with the x and z dials to make the chest wider and deeper. You might also have to tweak the abdomen and neck dials to eliminate any step effect.

oh, dear, you must learn magnets for ultimate contol over your geometry - I think people are afraid of them, because they aways go a harder route when mags are really so easy. Yeah, you could go out and find some morphs to download that may come close to what you want, or you can learn to use magnets and get exactly the shape you want in a few minutes. I think I will begin writing my tutorials as a public service. marty

I don't want to dissaude anyone from writing more tutorials, because any topic can use several more. But one good magnet tutorial is at http://www.planet-3d.com/tutorials/basicmags.

Insomniaworks.. yes please! I've been struggling with magnets myself..

Traveller has a set of four or five tutorials that turn up here and there, and they are superb. After flailing around for more than a year, I read them and "got it." I think they live at RDNA now, and they may still be at BBay. In fact, I seem to remember that they were linked to R'osity for a while. Trying searching-- No, I forget where we are. Go to the end of the tuts and work your way backwards. I think they date from P3 (which is not problem, because magnets haven't changed much since). M

Try wyrmmasters universal deformers that are at DAZ, they work on most females (not the k-gang though, that has kind of scary results sometimes). You don't have to go flotation devices but can adjust them as you need them. I couldn't work without them to be honest.
