Subject: Glowing eyes/hair?

Hello everyone. I was playing around with IBL the other night and quite by accident I managed to make a prop "glow". The light was somehow applied literally to the object. Astonished, I tried to do this to other things (eyes and hair) to see if I could make glowing eyes without the pain of putting little lights in them. I haven't been able to do it yet, and I'm having trouble finding documentation on this online. Can someone point me in the right direction? I very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Maybe you changed your ambient color and value? That makes things glow. =o)

Perhaps I did, but how the heck did I assign a light to an object like that? I've been using poser for awhile (around a year) but I'll admit I obviously haven't "studied" it very much. How the heck did I do that, is my question. haha :o)

It might be the gather node that you used? I don`t have poser 6 so that is just a guess.

Post a screen shot of your material and render settings so the rest of us can study them. ;)

Sadly I don't have the original setting any longer. I closed it out last night because it was ruining the work. Darn..> I thought this would be an easy one. :)
