Why DON'T we have a POSER HALL OF FAME and HONOR those who have contributed to Poserdom? There is the "Rock'n'Roll" Hall of Fame, The Baseball Hall of Fame, The Heisman Trophy, The Grammy's, The Oscars... We need to Honor the people who have advanced Poserdom and made significant contributions. The award would be a Golden "Your Suggestion Here" (Posette? Dork?)... This award would give recognition to the many people who have unselfishly give many hours of their time, talent and hard work to advancing Poserdom for all of us... This could become an annual event featuring Video segments, still artwork, Best Morphs, Best New Female Character, Best Costume, Best Supporting Prop, Best Flash Animation, etc... I suggest we do this either in the Springtime or Fall season when there would be the largest on-line audience. There could be ten nominations in each category, and a Poser Academy of Judges who would email in their votes. Poser characters could show up posted as stepping out of limos (or showing up on Harley's, horses or spacecraft)... A section of Renderosity could be created as a permanent "Poser Museum" where newbies could visit and gawk in awe at the contributions those have made who have come before them... Winners of the Annual Award could post the award on their websites like "Winner 2001, Best Morph Award", etc. They could also post a "Nominated for Best..." even if they don't win it... About time, don't you think???...

I already asked this question while commenting an image by Cake1 once... We could have some categories and some polls in order to give all those free stuff contributors some recognition as you said. But I think we should do it ourselves if we want to see it. As I said, the reason for which Renderosity or other sites got a lot of traffic is freestuff and not online stores. The frontpages became huge with many store previews, but we never see anything concerning people who share their work for free. Every month there is a top storecontributor, why isn't there a top free stuff contributor ?! Free and paying stuff can live together, but there should be more recognition for all those great " free stuff " artists, souldn't there ?!

On both accounts, I agree, A Poser "Oscars" would be a fantastic idea!! and a top freestuff contributer would be most just. Great ideas guys! Styxx
