Go to the material room, advanced mode; Select the GROUND props and unselect "Shadow Catch Only" Plug a "reflect" node in the reflection color of the PoserSurface. The reflect node is found when you right click, in the Raytrace submenu. Befor rendering, be sure that raytracing is enabled. By the way, it will be much much easier to find a reflective material (some comes directly woth Poser6) and try them. That's the basic... Here is a tutorial for Poser5, but works exactly the same in Poser6.Dunno about AO but I can assure you that you can have lots of either Infinite or Spot lights, or any combination thereof and reflections will work just fine. The only other thing I can think of is that your material settings for the floor are wrong and you're washing out the reflections. As mentioned above, please post a pic of the settings you are using for the floor. Otherwise, it's impossible to tell what the problem is.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Turn down the diffuse value, to 0.1 or similar. Your current material has regular diffuse reflection and mirror reflection and is therefore reflecting more light than it receives - something we can do within freedom of computer generated images, but that doesn't happen in real life. You may in addition want to try unchecking "Reflection_Lite_Mult".

That's a weird looking Reflect node for P6. Where's Ray_Bias?

Is this a mac or something? It does look different. Not that it should matter, but it looks strange

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I still can't make it happen. Does the type of lighting come into play? Can someone walk me through this simple yet puzzling concept for me? Please don't just refer me to a previous post. Thanks.
