Subject: Think fish renderer...

Ok, I have Ray Dream 3d, not RD5.5, but i was wondering if anyoe here had the renderer in RD5.5 or earlier, and had used it with poser figures(via the poser importer) and had gotten the renderer to render with textures applied. I cannot get it to work. ALl of the other renderers render with textures applied, does this one just not work? And on a side note, if someone could pointme in teh direction of a good tutorial on importing poser4 figures into RD, I would be greatly in your debt. Thanks.

Darthgod, The Think fish renderer doesn't support textures, that's part of the reason I wrote Toon! Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild Freeware and commercial 3D extensions http://digitalcarversguild.com

Ugh. I was soo happy to see this, I downloaded the demo of Toon! to see how it worked (the graphic on your page and testimony was very convincing) and installed it to the ext folder of RD3D, but alas, when booting RD3D, it said it could not load any of the TOon files, because they were not written for RayDream3d. Thanks though. At least I know that thinkfish won't work with textures:)
