Just tried to load P5 and my prefered state did not open. It went to the default state. Shut down and reopend after resetting preference. Same thing. Shut computer down and start, same thing again. In P4 when this happened a small file was missing and I had to reload it. Is the same for P5 and what is the file name? thanks butch

I don't know how you can fix this, or of the small file you mention, but I do know of some precautions that will usually alow you to fix Poser if this or similar problems happen again. Once your prefered state in set, save a UI dot, this will alow you to restore many of interface setings. The prefered state is stored in a file named "preferredState.pz3", the path reletive to the Runtime folder is: .RuntimeprefspreferredState.pz3 Make a backup copy of this file. Also backup "Poser.ini" from the same folder, and "Poser.rsr" from your "Poser #" folder. I find restoring these files will usually cure Poser when it throws one of it's periodic fits.
