Subject: Using Victoria transparencies in Vue

I finally got the hang of using transparency maps in Vue (version 4)but I noticed that they are "shifted" on the actual hair and eyelashes, when applied to the Victoria model. I see the transparency on the material sphere and it looks good; however when the material is applied to the actual objects, it is not placed correctly. I see a lot of gaps and blank areas in the texture and it seems to be upside down or twisted and shifted. I have tried rotating the map, but that does not seem to work.
BTW, I imported Victoria in as a .obj from DazStudio. All the other textures work well, its just the hair and eyelashes that are giving me problems. Please help.

A wild guess - are they flipped in the X or Y or both? I seem to remember something about certain 3D apps doing something weird like that to transparencies.
