Subject: Use Limits = Flyaway shoes!

Is there any way to keep shoes on a figure when "Use Limits" is checked? Or are there any shoe props available, free or otherwise, which stay with the figure when Limits are on?

Yep - that's a problem :o) - better not use "use limits" or just use a prop instead of a character (if you used the shoes from the figures-library ...) However - the "use limits" are not real - people could move their limbs in reality more than what Poser proposed by using limits ...

Thanks for answering.... nice to know that I'm not just imagining. So shoes built as figures have the problem, while shoes built as props don't have the problem?

ockham - This bug was found when P4 was released. For some reason then Metacreations and now Curious labs could either not reproduce the problem or solve it. It is a real irritation. Schlabber - You can change the limits if you want to something that you think is more "real". Select the segment whose limits you want to change and then double click on the parameter dial for the action you want to modify.

well BAM - I never made a figure like this - in fact I really know from my imaginations where the figure-limits are - so I never uses limited on ... Well - at least I hope to be back on-line very soon - end of next week - then you can have a look at the 2000 poses on this website (yes - that was NO typin error - :o) )

The ability to visualize and then reproduce what you want is either a gift or takes lots of practice. Either way, it must be great to have it. I am amazed at how long it takes me to get things to look correct. If I don't have limits on I either get twisted/lost and then things don't move properly or the joints tend to get broken. Sometimes what I do is pose the figure without clothing with limits on and then turn off the limits and add the clothes. But, I don't see why I should have to do this.
