Subject: Another bug with Poser Pro Pack?

Has anyone else found this problem with the Poser Pro Pack? When working in the "grouping" mode. If you click on the trackball, any of the camera movement controls or the lights, it selects the camera or light and stops working on the prop or figure you were working on. You have to re-select the prop or figure that your were working on to continue. At first I thought is was intermitant problem, but discovered that it depends on how fast you click and hold/drag the camera controls or light. This is very anoying. The prop or figure you selected when you began working on in the group mode should STAY selected until you get out of group mode or only let you select other props or figures not the cameras or lights. You should be able to rotate or move the prop or figure, and adjust the lights on the figure or prop without it selecting a light or camera. I'm on a MAC BTW. James

Not a bug that I can tell. It would be the same if you were selecting different bodyparts.

If you notice, both the cameras and the lights are represented with geometry now (in outline mode).

Well I certianlly wish that some how I could turn this off. I was working on a very complicated House model over 500 parts and to re-select little tiny parts that took me awhile just to select is anoying when I just need to rotate my viewpoint to get a closer look and find out that I now have the camera selected. :( But as I said, if you're careful you can aviod selecting the camera or lights. So I guess I just have to get the hang of how quickly or slowly I select the controls. Now am I crazy or was this not happening in Poser 4 without Pro Pack. As I remember, you could select parts of the prop/figure but never did it select a camera or light when you chose to rotate a camera or position a light. Don't get me wrong, it's nice that cameras and lights are now geometry, but shouldn't they only be selectable when you want them? Not while you're trying to work on another prop/figure. Oh well James

Well two bugs I've found are: 1. when attaching a prop to a body part, if you click on the Bend to Body part check box, PPP somehow messes up the menu system. You can' click OK to get out of the hierarchy list. Instead you have to click cancel. This then leaves all the menus grayed out and un available but yet you can still use hot keys and such. When exiting the prop's properties dialog can be seen under the main menu. 2. The drop to floor function wigs out for some reason popping my figure up 7 to 10 units on the y axis. Changing to a different pose sometimes fixes this.

Yeah, Mason, I noticed that last bug too. Same happens when trying to apply the Script for this function in an animation, but not always.
