Hey i trying to make a wave or a ring which slowly increases and decrease. Like a drop of water on still water. That sort of thing and i have no clue of how to do it.

For rings try torus within a torus in a torus all laying flat together texured with a water texture partly submerged in the water. that's a start. Once you have the first torus on screen you can use the E button next to it to make it thick like a doughnut or thin like a hoola hoop.for the drop you could just use a streched sphere. good luck.

You can also use a greyscale for a terrain that creates your waves...
