Subject: Morphing Questions M2 / M3

Ok, so I have a pretty neat M2 model that I have been working on for ages. Is there any way to transfer the morphs over to M3 in any shape or form. I know I have seen V2/V3 characters in the market place - are these scultped from scratch? I guess i'm just looking to shortcut the process and not spend another 2 months or so morphing M3 to how I want him....

the short answer is ...no :-/ the unimesh figures have different goemetry and cannot take morphs from V2/M2 there is a M3-M2 hybrid that is basicly M3's head on mike2's body but he can only wear M2 clothing if you are trying to solve a clothing issue I strongly suggest buying Wardrobe wizard I use it to convert M3's clothing back to M2 as i use M2 excusively in Male renders

Thanks wolf - but I am looking to market the character - and I think there is most likely more marketing potential in a M3/ David character. For my stuff I am happy to use my M2 and his clothing. Plus with current exchange rates WW is a bit of an outlay :( for the amount of use it would get from me. However - I experimented this afternoon and tried a copy & paste on the facial dial settings betwwen M2 and M3 and I am pleased and surprised with progress so far - I think with a little more tweaking I can get very close to what I want. It won't be an overnight job - but I'm sure it is achievable...

If you find the short-cut, please do share with us. I would eagerly anticipate such a bridge as I have some morphs on Mike 2 I would like to see transferred. THANKS! smile

RKane_1 give the copy and paste method a shot - you will see what I mean, of course the only problem with this method is it only works for original included morphs - it won't work for custom morphs for that I guess you have to be a modeller - which I am not.... :( And alas, I also be one of those folk that are "magnet challenged" - so i am stuck with premade morphs....
