Is anyone else having as much problems getting into the DAZ forums as me? I can much other aspects of the site pretty quickly, but the forums take forever to load. David

Yep...the mornings have been bad there for a few days now, and today seems to be real bad.

I haven't had trouble until today. And this is the day that I needed to get into the PA forums to find out the latest on an ongoing project. David

I've found DAZ slow in the mornings for months now. Some days are worse than others. Sometimes I can't get in at all. Dunno if they're running backups or what.

Banks run maintenance like that all the time, but at least they have the decency to put a message telling you that's what they're doing. DAZ should do the same. Would avoid some headaches. David

When DAZ does major maintenance, they usually shut everything down and put up a maintenance message. Backups pretty much run all the time and shouldn't affect forum speed that much if at all. I did call DAZ up after reading this thread and they aren't noticing any slowness (neither am I), however, they did ask me to find out a couple of things: 1. Are there specific time periods in the morning when this is happening? 2. When does it seem to revert to normal speeds? 3. Is this during US mornings or European mornings? Thanks.

US mornings. I first tried to log-in to a thread I had gotten and ebot on around 8am this morning. Things didn't start to pick back up again until around 9-9:30ish ET. David

The problem is usually 5am to 7am ET. May be earlier; I'm usually not awake before then. It's usually working by 8am, when I get to work.

The forums seem to be the biggest problem. Sometimes, the store is accessible but the forums are not. Sometimes the entire DAZ site, and PoserPros, too, are inaccessible.

Unfortunately, I was able to get into the Daz forums...where I encountered the RUDEST, MEANEST, MOST HORRIBLE merchant of Poser items I could ever expect to meet.

I never have any problems with the Daz site (either the forum or the store) being slow at all. I access it at all different times of the day/night. Renderosity, on the other hand, usually always takes at least 30 seconds to load a page - which would be ok if I had dialup :/
