Eager to learn as I am (yeah...;) I would like to learn how to create conforming clothing. I know there are a lot of talented people here, and it's a difficult process so any tips on books, tutorials to read or software to use would be very much appriciated. Thanks!

There are quite a few terrific tutorials over at Poser Pros you might take a look at. I'd also recommend the book 'Secrets of Figure Creation With Poser 5'. I don't use Poser 5 [at all] but find the book to be a wealth of information regardless.

If you are serious about doing modeling for Poser, the Secrets of Figure Creation is in my opinion a must have resource. However, it is not a beginners resource. Make sure you have a firm grasp of Poser concepts, the book can be a bit dense in spots. But you won't find a better overall resource. - Noel

Check out Phil C's "3D Modeling for Poser Tutorial CD" and his "Clothing Creator" program. The first tells you how to create conforming cothing for Poser figures and the second is a program that makes it easy to create dynamic clothing using 2D templates. Both don't get nearly as much attention as they deserve. Go to his website (at the link above), click on "Catalog" and then click on "Tutorials" for the "3D Modeling..." CD and "Utilities" for the "Clothing Creator" program. -jjsemp
